Internships & Volunteers

Agape Sober Homes Inc. is a Massachusetts nonprofit providing safe, structured sober housing for individuals recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. We are now accepting applications for Summer 2026 Internships, with rolling start dates and remote options available.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience while supporting recovery-focused housing and community outreach.

🌟 Summer 2026 Internship Program (Remote & Local)

Term: May – August 2026 (flexible start/end dates)

Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week

Location: Remote (Massachusetts preferred but not required)

Compensation: Unpaid / Volunteer-based

Academic Credit: Available (if approved by your school)

Letters of Recommendation: Provided upon successful completion

📞 Community Outreach & Awareness Intern (Self-Directed / Cold Calling)

Role Design: Self-Directed, Platform-Based Internship

Primary Focus:

  • Conduct outreach calls using professional dialer and CRM platforms
  • Share information about sober housing and recovery resources
  • Log outreach activity and outcomes within the CRM system
  • Follow written scripts, workflows, and compliance guidelines

How You Will Learn:

  • Self-guided learning through MOJO Dialer and CRM tutorials
  • Review of platform-provided training videos and documentation
  • Use of written scripts, FAQs, and call flows
  • Exposure to real-world outreach systems used in nonprofit and real estate environments

This Role Is Best Suited For Individuals Who:

  • Are comfortable learning independently without live training
  • Can follow written instructions and scripts
  • Are comfortable speaking on the phone
  • Prefer flexible, self-paced work environments

Skills Gained:

  • Professional phone communication
  • CRM and outreach platform experience
  • Community engagement and advocacy
  • Transferable skills relevant to nonprofit, marketing, and real estate roles

📣 Marketing & Social Media Intern

Primary Focus:

  • Social media content creation
  • Outreach campaigns
  • Basic digital marketing support
  • Awareness and fundraising promotion

What You’ll Learn:

  • Nonprofit marketing strategy
  • Content planning and messaging
  • Social impact storytelling

🧩 Operations & Admin Support Intern

Primary Focus:

  • CRM data organization
  • Research and lead tracking
  • Administrative and compliance support
  • Program documentation

🤝 Volunteer Opportunities (Year-Round)

We also welcome volunteers who want to support:

  • Phone outreach
  • Community engagement
  • Administrative support
  • Special projects

Volunteer roles are flexible and can be short-term or ongoing.

Self-Directed Internship Model (For Schools & Career Centers)

Agape Sober Homes Inc. offers self-directed, experiential internships designed for students seeking real-world exposure to nonprofit outreach, marketing, and operations.


Program Structure:

  • No live classroom instruction or daily supervision
  • Learning occurs through industry-standard platforms and written materials
  • Interns manage their own schedules and progress
  • Emphasis on accountability, professionalism, and independent learning


Learning Methods:

  • Platform-based tutorials (MOJO Dialer, CRM systems)
  • Written scripts, workflows, and SOPs
  • Practical application through real outreach tasks


Outcomes for Students:

  • Hands-on experience with professional tools
  • Resume-ready role descriptions
  • Exposure to nonprofit operations and community engagement
  • Letters of recommendation upon successful completion


This model aligns with experiential learning, service-learning, and remote internship standards commonly accepted by U.S. colleges and universities.

Training & Supervision:Agape Sober Homes Inc. does not provide formal classroom instruction, individualized coaching, or daily supervision. Interns learn through self-guided platform tutorials, written materials, and independent task completion.


Employment Status:Participation in this internship does not create an employment relationship. Interns are not employees and are not entitled to wages, benefits, or employment protections.


Academic Credit:Academic credit is subject to approval by the intern’s educational institution. Agape Sober Homes Inc. will provide documentation upon request.


Acknowledgment:By participating, the intern acknowledges understanding the self-directed nature of the role and agrees to comply with all scripts, policies, confidentiality requirements, and community standards.
